Michael Beauclerc

Michael Beauclerc is a drummer, percussionist, composer, and author in Canada. He is also a busy marching percussion clinician for Yamaha Music Canada, having performed over 300 clinics from coast to coast. Michael is the co-founder and Executive Director of the Canadian Drumline Association, as well as a drumline adjudicator. Michael has taught and arranged for competitive ensembles for over two decades, with his ensembles winning 17 provincial championships since 2012

His books “The Mad Practice Pad” and “Developing Modern Drumlines” have become the literal foundations for Canadian drumlines and marching percussion instructors.

Michael Beauclerc is a sponsored drumset and drumline artist for Yamaha Drums & Percussion, Vic Firth sticks & Mallets, Sabian cymbals, and REMO drumheads.

Currently Michael is a nationally touring performer and educator. His compositions, books, and lessons are all available through Oak Ridge Percussion’s online learning center!
